promblem with the lamp

ok every body my striker 170 has packed up my mate has tested it and the coiled wire is the fault can you get a replacement for it if so where from any help would be appreciated

Send a mail to Light Force, I spoke to them some time ago and was told that any issues regarding all their lamps was resolved and that they are happy with the new components(spelling) they now use.

 

More fooken problems that there worth these lamps.

the wire on the striker is shit ive had feck all but greif till i replaced it

there will be a break in the wire some were u will be able to feel it if u run your fingers along the length of the wire, then just joint it with a through crimp or just wrap the two ends around each other. it happend to mine and my friends lamp and they both still work alright. Hope this helps

have had that with a lazerlight never seen me move so fast you can get replacement cables for the light force iv had nothing butt trouble with them i got 3 now and it seems 2 be a common fault with them the guts in the handle and the coiled lead heres a link for a spare coiled lead butt if i was you id put a non coiled lead back on it http://www.field-sports.co.uk/

had them all and feched battereis lamps etc lamps no were as good ,as they could be for the rigours of the scottish country side or for that case any were a part for a golf course , i bought a marine blue eye from optronics but its a sealed beam, when i was over in the states very robust, i keep it for the boat ,for a search light but you could lamp with it , got another over there good beam etc but a bit short on the ciol , never had a perfect lamp there all made to break or the companies would go out the game .

I have such a lamp, great little piece of work, was out some time ago and the lad who was carry the lamp bag went on fire, like something out off "carry on lamping". Wires melted, bag plus his jumper caught fire, funny at the time.

 

I did write to Light Force, but they just gave me some crap abot how brill there lights are and new wiring looms are used. Never buy another on again.

i think there good lamps (when not trying to burn you) but made rubbish every1 ino has had somthink go wrong on it

The lamp i put up in the link Mate is a Cluson and not a Light Force.

do cluson sell the coil leads as they seem to sell all the parts, is it worth replacing it with one of there coils? never had any trouble with the wire on my cluson
